I suppose it's about time I reared my head here again. Now, I'm sure some people have wondered why I've been absent the past few months. Some know that I got a job at a sock company as a designer. However, truth be told, I haven't worked since the first week of October. Although I haven't technically been "fired," I don't think I'll be working there anymore. Now, you may be thinking "Well, damn. If you haven't worked in 6 weeks, why haven't you come back here sooner?" The short answer is: I just didn't feel like it. I could probably go into detail about it, as well as some other things, but not right now. Maybe I'll make a different journal, just to get things off my chest.
Anyway, I want to try to be more active, like I used to be. I feel like season 4 may help me want to do arts. As for the commissions I need to do... Hmm, I dunno if I'll do them or not. It has been 5+ months since people commissioned me, so they probably forgot. I may go around and ask if they still want them and I'll just do them for free, since it's been so long.
Looking to Commission
Yep, 2 journals, one right after the other. I'm looking to commission someone to paint a landscape for me, and I thought perhaps my watchers could help. I have a couple people in mind, but I thought I'd see if any of you had some good recommendations. I can pay in cash or points, whatever the artist prefers.
Time for a Long Overdue Update
Hello, everyone. Well, it's been over 2 months since I last made a journal, and even longer since I actually submitted any art. I guess it's about time I said something on here.
So, remember in my last journal I said I got a job? Well, I still have it and it's what consumes much of my life. (about 45 hours a week) The job has its ups and downs, like most things in life, I suppose, but overall I don't particularly like it. I can't say I'd want to work there for years. In truth, the pay is the only thing that keeps me there, and although the money is nice, I do not think I'd want to stay more than 6 months. If I miraculously became a lead desi

So, I got that job I mentioned last week, and today was actually my first day! Didn't let anypony know before, just because I didn't feel making a journal or anything. So, eeyup! You know what this means! For me, it means money and experience. For DA, well, one might think less frequent deviations. Personally, I think I'll be the same speed as before.
Anyway, it's pretty neat. It's only the first day and I've already learned a few new tricks in Illustrator. Maybe now my art will actually be good!
Vital Information for Your Everyday Life
So, I haven't been doing much lately, and theres a, what I think to be, decent excuse for it. My Internet has just been complete and utter shite the past 3 weeks. Not to mention, I've also been a bit busy with class. However, I have been working a bit on commissions and such, so I will be posting more things soon.
Now for some more exciting news! I'm getting close to 200 watchers, so I think I'll have a little giveaway when I get there! Last time I did one, I offered a print of a poster I made.
